in this game there are no prisoners,only casualties.in the end there is no denying that there will always be a small part of us that will be selfish is there.of course there are certainly people who are more selfish than others,but at the very core,there's no denying what we are partially made of.we try hard to change our very nature,to develop habits that pull us otherwise.to show others that we too, can be civilized.or should we say so we believe.at times we find ourselves wanting more than what we have.we don't wanna give up what we have,and yet we want things that have yet to come.we don't want to make the necessary sacrifices,we don't want to give it all up.we rationalize, telling ourselves that it's ok.that it is only human nature to want, to lust after.but if it is alright,then why do we always have that still voice inside us that tells us that we can't have everything?crossroads of life - we learn to make decisions.to see the importance of matters.to realize that life is an intricate web of choices,that every choice has its inevitable consequence.to understand what we want is not always good for us,yet the forbidden fruit is the sweetest.to come to the painful truth thatwe are indeed selfish and covetous,wanting things that are not ours to own.some times the need to want and own overpowers the mind.a loss of reason, leaving emotions holding the reins.
