& i need to break away from here and now
just so that i will have the strength to carry on.

deepavali was good.
haha, despite the black parade.
no offence intended, just a phrase i learned from a and d ;D
went to watch eagle eye, FINALLY.
keyword = finally. hahaha.
then went to city hall with a and d to get d his belated birthday present, the NUM tank.
and he still thought that we were really gonna go meet church leaders.
lol, just really relived that he was happy with the present.
went to eat and shop(?) at marina square. haha.
and they sat down in the middle of marina square, once again, to take a picture.
m and e joined us after that, and i swear there's something going on bet. them
lol, erlyn if you see this don't be pissed, you know i don't mean anything nasty :)
oh ya, we all smooched (!) at marina square!!!!
haha, before you get the wrong meaning, i meant smooch in netball context.
and we sang "if you're happy and you know it clap your hands" on our way to suntec.
it was super duper fun! hahaha.
haha, a lamp post with muscles, what about that.
i'll post photos if i'm not too lazy next time :P

then went to meet to celebrate k's birthday.
and omg, the enitre gang was there! all 5 of us!!!
it was extremely heartwarming, cause i haven't seen kl and oli for like ___ (fill in number) months.
really long time man, and missed them to bits.
we cam-whored at LJS in hougang mall,
and i'm 100% sure that the guy sitting across us were laughing at us, bleh.
sadly, kl had to leave us early so only left 4 ppl :(
went to eat at cafe cartel, as usual, lol.
but sad thing that i couldn't stay too late cause i had school today.
anyways, i love you guys soooo much!!!

gotten back all my results except chinese p1 i think.
so far, only flunked maths so i guess it's not that bad :X

and aren't we all like Alex Rivers (Picture Perfect) ?
we become the roles that are expected or even needed of us,
thinking that it's the easiest way to get by the day,
the only solution that doesn't complicate matters,
when all we're really doing is running away from the truth?
we become so immersed in the role that we lose ourselves,
so wrapped up with what is expected rather than what really is.

and aren't we all like Andrew sometimes (Vanishing Acts) ?
we lie to people whom we love, thinking that we're protecting them,
insisting that we don't have ny other other choice,
when the person without the choice is the recipient and not us.
we go through the motion knowing that what we did is wrong,
yet if we had a choice to do it all over again,
there's nothing we would have done differently.

and aren't we all like Elliot (Will You Be There?) ?
wishing that we could go back in time, to do something differently.
to say that last sentence in a different tone,
or to tell that lost loved one that we love them.
to grab that lost oppotunity, to make something worthwhile out of our lives.

and aren't we all like Lucy (The Third Angel) ?
looking for a third angel to help us through.
the angel of life, the angel of death and lastly the third angel,
who walks among us and half the time we think that we're helping him/her
when he/she is actually the one saving us.
