there're so many paths in life, so many choices to make.
and somewhere along the way, we're bound to make mistakes.

so sometimes the question we should ask is not,
"how can i make lesser mistakes?"
instead it should be,
"which mistake is gonna bear a lesser price?"

"hey," she nudged him,
"if you see two people holding hands, would you think it's nothing?
i mean like, can it be possible to feel so at ease with someone,
yet there's nothing more than friendshil between them?
can two people hug so very often but they say there's nothing going on?"
the questions suddenly appearing in her mind.

the guy looked at her, bemused.
ruffled her hair and replied,
"i'm not very sure you know.
i guess there can be such a possibility right?"

rolling her eyes at him, she teased him
"i'm asking you the question man.
you're suppose to answer me, not post another question of your own"

"alright alright, but all i can say is that i'm not sure.
not at all."

"it seems a little blurred to me huh, i mean the lines and all.
somewhat ambiguous ain't it."

"you and your obsession with that word,
but yeah, i agree, ambiguous's the word."

...

"the perfect word to describe us"

i thought you would be more understanding
i tried being nice and telling you that i was having exams,
my reason for my absence.
but then you couldn't take it in.
yeah i know it's a commitment,
but hey, i AM a student after all.
and as much as i can't believe i'm saying this,
my exams are important to me.
your oh-so-discreet method of telling me how you felt
was NOT appreciated alright.
i tried not to snap at you but you had to push it didn't you.
now i feel like as though i can't even look at you.

i guess i'm just damn disappointed.
i thought you knew better.

i thought you said that despite whatever that you said,
we were still gonna be friends.
but that don't seem to be the case anymore.
we don't talk, nothing.
and from your replies it's kinda obvious you don't wanna talk.
so hey, i don't think i'm gonna bother either.
despite what other people told me,
i thought i knew better.
stupid me huh.

i don't know what's wrong with me.
