he told me i should forget all about it, to only think about the happy times. to just remember and not try so hard lest i taint even the good memories. he said i should give it time, lay off and not be bothered, cause you're not worth it.

he says i should not give it up, that after a while things will become better. that you still love me as much, and that you still care, ultimately. that giving up now would be cowardly, and the wrong course of action.

you know what i'd do if i had a choice?

i'd rip my brain right out of that skull of mine, and cut out the part that has the memory of you, of us in it. bloody hell yes. even if it bleeds profusely, or if blood streams down and stains my white blouse so badly i'll have to throw it away, it doesn't matter. 

anything has gotta be better than this.
