tired and worn out, i don't think i want to do this anymore.
i'm sick of playing these guessing games
where i can't read you, and you can't see through me.

i thought it was going to get better,
that perhaps it was just a phase,
but i'm beginning to doubt myself.
perhaps it was never what i thought it was in the first place,
perhaps it was just my imagination.

perhaps to you, i was never what you meant to me.

no matter the case,
i'm not going to try to fix it anymore.
