The ball bounced against the wall and almost hit the girl.
She turned and gave the two that annoyed look.
"Hey, could you watch it? Pus, you're disturbing people staying in this block"
They just shrugged and they continued walking to the basketball court.
It was already 930 but the girl suddenly felt like playing basketball, so she asked them to join her.
They played while waiting for the others to come.
To the girl, it wasn't the playing that mattered.
It was more of the spending time with her friends and forgetting about all the other stuff.

After some time, they took a break and begin talking about some stuff.
That's when she realised that she wasn't the only one feeling awful.
She walked with him, just talking about their hurts and about everything under the sun.
For that once, she felt happy.
It felt so good to be able to talk to him about anything without any reservations.

They walked many rounds around the park, then finally settled on the bench
It went way past their curfew but they didn't know
They were too absorbed in their conversation.
"Hey what time is it?"
"1052"
"What the heck. Crap"
Upon hearing that, she couldn't believe that they have been talking for so long.
Incredible.
But she had to go home now, she couldn't afford to stay.
