it's perfectly fine when you're caught in the cycle, in the motion of it all. you think that this is the way your life should be led, that nothing's wrong with it. but you only need one single event, to change it all. to cause you to falter and question what you used to think was good, was normal, was okay. that's all you need.

that one time to make you think. to destroy the familiarity of that cycle, even if it was only for a day or a few hours. that span of time is more than enough for everything you've avoided to come crashing into your mind, and that's when you realize that no matter how you run, you'll never escape it anymore.

it's almost these thoughts have adopted a life of their own, and they chase you till they catch you. they tie you up, and leave in the middle of the wasteland of your darkest thoughts, with no escape route.

and there, you start to think of all the possibilities. and god, that kills. you think of what you could have been doing instead, and you wonder why you've ended up where you are.

yet there are such bonds that ties you to the place. that as much as you want to leave, you just cannot. the thing is, you can't imagine a life without them. and damn all things, that's the honest truth.

i hate this; that i know what i truly feel but have no courage to go.
to arise and go.
